Learn about Housing Insecurity

Become an Advocate

Unexpected challenges like job loss, illness, injury, family transitions, or car trouble can quickly create housing instability. Rising healthcare costs, limited transportation, and a shortage of affordable housing make it even harder for families to regain stability on their own.

Fort Bend Family Promise brings together the interfaith community to help families move forward with dignity and independence. Through safe shelter, meals, and personalized support, we help families overcome barriers to employment, transportation, healthcare, and permanent housing.

With the support of our community, more than 80% of families secure stable housing and remain housed long after completing the program.
