Associate Director

Etta G. Vincent is the Associate Director Executive Director for Fort Bend Family Promise (FBFP). She has been serving in this position since 2019. Ms. Vincent came to Fort Bend Family Promise with over twenty-five years of experience in Human Resources in the private sector in various industries such as oil & gas, real estate, staffing, and banking. Prior to joining Fort Bend Family Promise, she served as Director of Human Resources for Lionbridge Capital Holdings and preceding that position, Senior Human Resources Generalist/Advisor for EOG Resources for over 10 years. Ms. Vincent is also the Owner/Artisan of Sparkle Naturally Bath and Expressions in Art Cafe based out of Missouri City, Texas.

She was born in Seoul, South Korea to a Korean mother and an African American father. As a child of a military family, Etta learned how to embrace and celebrate various cultures due to her numerous travel opportunities and her diverse background. She has lived in different parts of the world, which has consequently affected her artistic view on life, race, and culture. Etta's inspiration and passion to help others is primarily due to her relationship, eternal love, and inspiring freedom that comes from Jesus Christ. She is also an artist who was trained in Seoul, South Korea and in Houston, Texas and holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. She currently resides in Missouri City, Texas with her husband John who shares and supports her passion for art and philanthropic efforts. Etta is blessed with 5 children and a host of grandchildren who inspire much of her art and her heart to giving back to her global community. Her art is currently displayed in private homes and businesses throughout the world. 

She is currently working on some commission pieces for various private collectors, charitable organizations and art shows and teaches children at Fort Bend Family Promise on how to channel and express their feelings through art as they are experiencing episodic homelessness with their families. Etta has also featured some of her art pieces in West Africa as part of a mission project with Born To Fly Organization, a non-profit organization for young artists in third world countries.
