Occupation:
I am a native Houstonian. I received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston. I have 3 beautiful boys, ages 14, 12 and 8. We have lived in Fort Bend County for more than 12 years.

What is your favorite part of volunteering for Family Promise?
I am very excited to serve on the board for Fort Bend Family Promise. I have admired the work of the agency since the first time I went to visit. Their goal of helping families in our community during duress is admirable. I feel it is our responsibility to assist our neighbors during financial difficulties.

Do you belong to a congregation or are you an unaffiliated volunteer?
I am a member of Sugar Land Baptist Church.

Do you have any kids and/or pets?
I have 3 boys and we have 3 dogs. I am also very close and involved in the lives of my nieces andnephews.

From looking at you, no one would guess that:
I love to watch TruTV!!

Favorite place to eat:
I love to eat at Pappas Seafood for their steak and key lime pie and I love Churrascos for their Tres Leches!

What would you tell people who are considering helping Fort Bend Family Promise?
Through the Fort Bend Junior Service League, I have had an opportunity to visit many agencies for possible grant approval. Fort Bend Family Promise stood out to me because of the dedication they have to saving families one family at a time. Their commitment to keeping families together by housing them together is a unique concept that should be admired.
